Great atmosphere for watching my birds. Great service, friendly people. Plenty of screens and great sound. Only problem, not many menu options for non meat eaters. I had shrimp tacos - they were not bad, but not too good. Some nice menu additions for a sports bar are Buffalo shrimp, crab meat nachos, crab fries, battered shrimp or fish tacos, shrimp and/or crab quesidilla. The person with me had a burger, and it looked very tasty and juicy, but not for me. I give it 4 stars because although I want food I actually eat, the main reason to go to a sports bar is not for the food, except for maybe Buffalo wings, or in my case Buffalo shrimp...

Had a quick bite here during a stay at the hotel next to it. Hotel, meh. Home Base, BOOM! We went in on a Friday afternoon and it was pretty empty. At a busier time, this would be a groovy spot to watch a game and have a beer. One thing that got my interest piqued was the sign that said, "Voted best wings in Delaware". I've not had a chance to try all the wings in Delaware but the Diablo wings were bangin! Draft beer was ice cold and refreshing. Service was spot on friendly and attentive. My only complaint is that I was only passing through and I can't visit more often.

Fun place with good food and service. Friendly bartenders and staff. Walked into a music trivia night on weekday that had nice local crowd. Definitely recommended over other nearby options.

Different cheesesteak #1106 in the last five years. Every once in a while God reminds me I am her favorite. Home Base has gourmet grilled cheeses and a cheesesteak wrap. I asked if they would make me a grilled cheesesteak ( I used my magic words, please and thank you). They said Yes to the Grilled Cheesesteak!! It was a marriage made in Heaven!! Toasted sourdough bread had the correct amount of thickness and toasting. Provolone cheese added a good amount of hardiness. Good amount of tender meat. The onions and peppers added great flavor. It came with chips. It was mid afternoon. There were a couple people at the bar. The bartender was pleasant and attentive. Based on the flavor of the cheesesteak, I am looking forward to trying their soup (with a grilled cheese sandwich).
